EVERY dollar makes a difference!
Since our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers, every penny that is donated is used for the animals in our care.
Other ways to give:
We gratefully accept shelter supplies (towels bedding, bleach, general cleaning supplies), cat and dog food, collars, leashes, litter pans, gently used creates, cages, and carriers, treats, and toys. Items can be donated to the shelter during regular business hours.

As you can imagine, 2020 has been a tough year for charitable organizations. We wanted to pass along some information about an important opportunity regarding charitable giving & tax deductions!
The CARES Act allows taxpayers, who take the Standard Deduction, to an above-the-line tax deduction of up to $300 for cash* gifts made during 2020 to a 501(c)(3). This applies to 2020 taxpayers who do not itemize. If married filing separately, each spouse is entitled to a $300 deduction.
For those who DO itemize, the Act increases the amount that can be deducted from 60% of adjusted gross income to 100%.
*Cash gifts include donations made via check, credit card & debit card but do not include "goods" such as products, stock or property.
If you have not met the $300 threshold in charitable giving yet this year, please consider making a donation to our organization today. Simply click below to make a tax-deductible gift online. You can also stop into or call our Adoption Center (716-633-6600) during our business hours, Mon-Fri 12-6pm & Sat 12-4pm. Receipts will be provided as required for your records.
These gifts must be made by December 31, 2020 to qualify, so please act quickly!
